KLM to Launch Service to Salt Lake City and Ibiza

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced today that it will begin nonstop service from Amsterdam to both Salt Lake City, Utah and Ibiza, Spain.

The airline will operate service to Ibiza for an eight-week period during the summer travel season. Service begins July 4, 2016 and ends August 25 and will be operated Monday through Friday. KLM will operate the route with its Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

KLM will expand its long-haul services and further enhance its joint-venture partnership with Delta Airlines with new service to Salt Lake City. Beginning May 5, 2016, service will be operated two-times weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays and will increase to three-times weekly, including Mondays, beginning July 4, 2016. The airline’s Airbus A330-300 aircraft will operate the new route.

“KLM’s network is developing progressively, offering more capacity and wonderful new destinations. Last week, KLM added five new European destinations, and we will also begin operating flights to Ibiza and Salt Lake City. These two new destinations will enable us to offer even better service to business and leisure travelers,” said Harm Kreulen, Director KLM Netherlands.
