World Airways Calls it Quits

After years of struggling to stay profitable, World Airways finally called it quits today. The airline’s parent company, Global Aero Logistics, decided after failing to find investors to resurrect the airline from bankruptcy to cancel all flights starting May 27. The airline is the second to claim bankruptcy in the last few months after Evergreen International Airlines ceased operations on December 31st.
