Gerald spent his teenage years amid wild dreams of flying helicopters in the Army. Despite not joining the military, he went on to graduate from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics with a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Aeronautical Design. Deeply passionate about air transportation, Gerald’s interests currently lie at the nexus between aviation, international development and public policy, and he hopes to design and manage air transportation systems that will develop air traffic for economic development and social progress with a special focus on the global south.
