An Above Water Cruise Aboard the Four Seasons Jet

Key Takeaways:

Did Air New Zealand get a 757? No, they did not, but this aircraft is much more luxurious than any commercial airliner out there. Toronto based luxury hotel brand, Four Seasons, announced recently that they will begin private jet itineraries around the world. For a hefty $119,000, you can fly around the world in a 757 that holds about 52 guests with a private, onboard chef, onboard concierge, and excursions that can’t be reached aboard any cruise ship.

Similar to a cruise ship set up, The Four Seasons Jet will be going around the world and will be stopping at various destinations along the way. The jet is scheduled to begin these around-the-world, luxury flights in February of 2015.

However, unlike any cruise ship, the aircraft can reach exotic destinations that are unreachable by ship. The first around-the-world trip with the jet will last for 24 days and will reach the following destinations:

  • Los Angeles
  • Kona, Hawaii
  • Bora Bora
  • Sydney
  • Bali
  • Northern Thailand
  • Mumbai
  • Instanbul
  • London

Following the first trip, other trips will occur in April and August. Due to the high volume of requests for the first 2015 trips, which are now sold out, Four Seasons has opened reservations for the 2016 trips. These trips, in 2016, will reach destinations such as Tokyo, Seattle, Florence, Dubai, and more.

With this jet, Four Seasons hopes to also showcase their hotels while placing guests aboard the jet in suites during excursions. Like the company’s hotels, the aircraft’s interior will also be very luxurious: wifi is a given, but lie flat, international first class seats will be a minimum for each passenger. They are the first hotel brand to offer a service like the Four Seasons Jet.

The aircraft itself, for now, is registered with TAG Aviation UK as G-TCSX. Most likely, TAG crews and staff will operate the aircraft for Four Seasons. On November 11th, 2014, Four Seasons released a video of the 757 being painted in its all black livery which can be seen below.

With the launch of the Four Seasons Jet, a new standard in air travel will be created. Around-the-world, private jet like trips with curiosity instilling excursions. Some of these excursions are only reachable by aircraft, which makes the Four Seasons Jet a brilliant concept to connect travelers with exotic and luxurious destinations.
