Throughout the month of November and in honor of Veterans Day, United Club customers will have the chance to support military charities by purchasing select beverages.

United has selected two beers to serve at its United Club locations, each chosen from breweries started and owned by veterans. In Chicago, United Club customers can purchase Veteran Beer Company’s Hooyah! IPA. Club locations at Denver, Honolulu, New York/Newark, San Francisco, and Washington D.C./Dulles will offer Dog Tag Brewing Foundation’s Legacy Lager.

Both Veteran Beer Company and Dog Tag Brewing Foundation were started by veterans and are committed to giving back to veteran assistance programs. Dog Tag Brewing, LLC donates 100 percent of its profits from Legacy Lager to charities created or selected by Gold Star Families and honors America’s Fallen Heroes.

Veteran Beer Company’s mission is to improve veteran unemployment and suicide rates. The company donates 10 percent of its profits to charities benefiting veterans. In addition, the company’s entire workforce is made up of veterans.

Beers will be sold for four dollars and United will donate one dollar from every beer sold to the USO, an organization that strengthens America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country, throughout their service to the nation.

United will also be serving a specialty cocktail consisting of Maker’s Mark Bourbon, lemon, orange and pineapple juices finished with Prosecco. The cocktail, dubbed Patriot Punch, will be sold in all U.S. United Club locations for six dollars. The airline will donate one dollar from every Patriot Punch sold to Operation Homefront’s Meals for Military, a charity which provides holiday meals for military families in need.

In addition, all active duty military service members are welcome in the United Club the same day as their travel on United or United Express flights. *
