United is set to add a new service between the U.S. and Canada later this year. The airline currently operates over 160 flights between the two countries.

Starting May 22, 2025, the Chicago-based carrier will connect Los Angeles and Toronto. As first flagged by JonNYC on X, the new route will operate once daily on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Outbound flights will leave Los Angeles at 11:45 p.m., arriving in Toronto at 7:45 a.m. the following day. Return flights depart at 10:15 a.m., landing in Los Angeles at 12:43 p.m. local time.

At the time of writing, United’s Star Alliance partner Air Canada operates five daily flights from Toronto to Los Angeles, per Cirium Diio schedule data.
