The airline services the route with an Embraer E145 aircraft, which seats 50 passengers.

Fastjet’s Zambia Route

The introduction of Fastjet’s flights between Harare and Lusaka is a significant development for the region. It enables the growth of business and creates opportunities to promote tourism, trade and foreign direct investments in both Zambia and Zimbabwe, the company stated.

“Aviation is a catalyst for economic development. The Harare – Lusaka route will be no different. It will unlock new opportunities for investment, trade, and collaboration, as well as strengthen tourism and connectivity between the two countries given their cultural synergies.” Donahue Cortes, Fastjet Zimbabwe’s Business CEO and Country Head, stated in a press release.

Zambia is the third country served in Fastjet’s route network. The carrier operates scheduled services within Zimbabwe.

Fastjet offers services between Harare, Bulawayo and Victoria Falls. It also flies from these cities to Johannesburg in South Africa. In addition, the airline also operates flights between Victoria Falls and the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
