United is set to expand its network footprint next year with the addition of three new airports. The carrier said it will also add a new route from one of its existing cities and resume service to another airport after a multi-year hiatus.

Starting on Feb. 24, the airline will begin new service to Roswell, New Mexico. Flights will operate twice per day from Denver.

United will go head-to-head with American in Roswell, which has been the city’s only airline for several years.

Two months later, on April 7, United will launch twice-daily service to Montgomery, Alabama. Flights will operate to the airline’s Houston hub.

On May 21, the airline will resume service to Alexandria, Louisiana, which it last flew to in 2022, per Cirium Diio schedule data. Twice-daily flights will operate to Houston.

In Chattanooga, Tennessee, United will launch new twice-daily service to Houston on March 30. The airline already serves Chattanooga from Chicago O’Hare and Newark, New Jersey.

Finally, United will become the only scheduled airline to serve Natchez, Mississippi, with flights slated to start on July 1. The carrier will link the city with Houston once per day.

The now-defunct Lone Star Airlines last served this airport with flights to Dallas/Fort Worth until 1994.

All of these routes will be operated by CRJ-200 aircraft, the airline said.
