Avelo is bringing two new destinations into its route network.
The ultra-low-cost carrier announced Wednesday that it will begin service to Indianapolis and Cleveland in June. Avelo plans to link both cities to New Haven, Connecticut, and Concord, North Carolina.
Flights to and from Indianapolis will begin on June 18. Both routes will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.
Service at Cleveland will commence one day later, on June 19. Both routes will operate twice a week, on Fridays and Mondays.
Avelo plans to operate all four new connections with Boeing 737 Next Gen aircraft.
“These new routes give travelers in Central Indiana and Northeast Ohio more choice and greater value, making it easier than ever to get to two great Avelo bases,” Avelo founder and CEO Andrew Levy said in a news release. “This growth demonstrates our unwavering commitment to our bases and momentum as we continue to grow our network.”
Avelo’s network is concentrated mainly in the eastern U.S. Both New Haven and Concord are bases for the airline.
