Frontier will offer a temporary connection between Southern California and Central America this winter, in time for the holiday season.

The carrier confirmed to AirlineGeeks that it will serve Guatemala City from Los Angeles. The route is scheduled to launch Dec. 17 and will operate through early January.

Frontier has not offered an LAX-to-Guatemala City service before.

The airline currently serves Guatemala City from Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, and Orlando, Florida.
