United this week unveiled a new aircraft livery meant to celebrate its mountain destinations.
The design, known as “Mountain Ascent,” was applied to an Embraer E175. It depicts sloping green valleys, evergreens, and snow-capped mountains.
The airline said the E175 will be flying into “mountain airports” this ski season, but did not provide exact destinations.

United serves numerous mountain locales known for skiing and other winter sports, including Aspen and Vail in Colorado, Jackson, Wyoming, and Bozeman, Montana. It recently announced winter service to Durango, Colorado, from Houston.
