Delta is cutting five routes from its schedule, with changes affecting service from New York and Las Vegas.
The carrier will discontinue flights from New York LaGuardia to Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with service from New York-JFK to Milwaukee and Palm Springs, California. Delta is also suspending flights from Las Vegas to San Diego and Orange County, California.
The changes appeared in Cirium Diio schedule data on Friday.
“Delta continually evaluates its network to ensure we’re offering a schedule that best meets customer demand,” an airline spokesperson said in a statement regarding the New York reductions. “We apologize for any inconvenience and will contact impacted customers directly about these changes.”
Service between LaGuardia and Tulsa will end beginning Nov. 9. Delta’s JFK-Milwaukee and Saturday-only JFK-Palm Springs routes will be discontinued beginning Dec. 19.
Delta will continue serving Milwaukee from New York with four daily LaGuardia flights.
In Las Vegas, the airline will suspend service to San Diego and Orange County beginning Nov. 9, citing demand after the winter season. The final regularly scheduled flights will operate Nov. 8, although some trips will return temporarily in January around CES.
“Delta is adjusting its Las Vegas schedule due to demand after this winter,” the airline added.
