Key Takeaways:

Southwest will add three new seasonal routes from Nashville, Tennessee, next summer.

The carrier announced Friday that it will connect Nashville with Boise, Idaho, Nassau, Bahamas, and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, in the summer of 2027. No start dates or frequencies were provided.

The announcement came the same day the airline said it will expand in Austin, Texas, with seven new domestic and international routes.

Southwest has a significant footprint in Nashville, with flights to destinations across the U.S., Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The airline opened a crew base there in 2024, and construction work is underway on a new airport lounge.

Southwest also plans to resume seasonal service between Nashville and Bozeman, Montana, and Portland, Oregon.
