United next year will resume a domestic short-haul route it last operated in 2022.

Starting Aug. 10, 2027, the carrier will connect Denver and Flagstaff, Arizona. Flights will operate twice daily, year-round.

Tickets are now available for purchase.

The airline paused service between Denver and Flagstaff in October 2022. Flagstaff officials said the decision was influenced by climbing jet fuel prices and staffing shortages.

United will not be the only major carrier arriving at Flagstaff next year. Delta announced last week that it will serve Flagstaff from Salt Lake City starting June 7, 2027.

Currently, only American Airlines serves Flagstaff Pulliam Airport. It offers flights to Phoenix and Dallas/Fort Worth.
