Key Takeaways:

BermudAir transferred flight operations to Orlando Sanford on Saturday after almost three years serving Orlando International.

The carrier now flies between Orlando Sanford and Hamilton, Bermuda. A second route, to Belize, will commence Dec. 21.

BermudAir announced the switch from MCO to SFB in June, saying Sanford is a more convenient and efficient gateway for flights to and from Bermuda, the Caribbean, and Central America.

The inaugural flight received a water cannon salute at Sanford on Saturday.
