Qatar Airways Wants to Serve Colombia

The carrier notes that Caracas would be a “technical stop,” so it’s unclear if Qatar plans to sell tickets from Bogota to Caracas or Caracas to Doha.

According to Aviacion al dia, the route is subject to approval by the Colombian civil aviation authority. The carrier has previously expressed interest in serving Bogota, joining fellow Middle East giant Emirates, which flies to Dubai via Miami.
