Starting on May 5, 2025, the Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier will connect its Dallas/Fort Worth hub with Golden Triangle Regional Airport in Northeast Mississippi. The new flights will operate daily with SkyWest CRJ-700 aircraft, per Cirium Diio schedule data.

Golden Triangle Regional Airport will be a brand-new airport on American’s route map. It will also be the airline’s third destination in Mississippi, joining Gulfport and Jackson.

The airline will go head-to-head with Delta, the only airline currently serving the airport. Delta offers twice-daily flights to its Atlanta hub on CRJ-900 aircraft.
