The service will operate between June and September of 2026.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, a joint venture between Etihad and Air Arabia, has purchased two A320s and plans to add two more by the end of this year.

Hungarian ultra-low-cost carrier Wizz Air is ending operations in Abu Dhabi and pulling out of its Middle East subsidiary, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.

The airline, one of the two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates, is now flying four times a week between Atlanta and Zayed International Airport.

This market will become the airline’s sixth destination in the U.S., joining New York, Chicago, Washington Dulles, Boston, and Atlanta.

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air has reportedly scrapped plans for a Milan-Abu Dhabi route, which would have operated using an Airbus A321XLR.

Beginning Dec. 15, the airline will double its flights between Abu Dhabi and Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Etihad currently flies its A380 aircraft to three other destinations from Abu Dhabi: London-Heathrow, Paris, and Singapore.

The Airbus A321LR is shaping up to be one of the workhorses of Etihad Airways and a competitive edge in the near future.
