President and Transportation Secretary signal upcoming bid process for major improvements.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has completed the activation of a new fiber optic communications network supporting air traffic control in Newark.

Duffy added that he understood “how meaningful” the program is to many communities but that he will be looking at changes.

He added that the Flexjet crew had a “decent amount of experience,” but a process to review their certificates is underway by the FAA.
