Southwest has inked a new interline agreement with Taiwan’s EVA Air for flights between North America and Asia from a handful of markets.

United and JetBlue announced Tuesday that the U.S. Department of Transportation has completed its review of their Blue Sky partnership.

The two carriers formalized their partnership in January 2025, following an initial Memorandum of Understanding signed in September 2024.

A new partnership announcement could come as early as the second quarter, airline leadership said during Tuesday’s earnings call.
