The Taiwan-based airline is partnering with artist Hajime Sorayama to realize the liquid metal concept.

The service will operate three times weekly.

The Taiwanese airline has ordered 18 of the type.

The expansion will bring codeshare flights to the East Coast and Midwest.

Starlux Airlines, a Taiwanese carrier, has rapidly established a reputation for its premium service and cohesive brand aesthetic since its launch in 2020.

The carrier recently launched service between Taipei and Ontario, California, its fourth destination in the U.S. It is also slated to add service to Phoenix.

The carrier – which began operations in 2020 – serves four destinations in America: Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Ontario, California, along with Seattle.
