Delta announced the planned launch of a non-stop route between Salt Lake City and Asia. The new service will join the carrier’s 250 other peak day departures from the Utah city.

Beginning on June 12, 2025. Delta will add service to Seoul Incheon. The new route will operate daily and year-round on an Airbus A350-900XWB.

The airline currently operates a handful of long-haul routes from Salt Lake City, including Paris, Amsterdam, and London. According to Cirium Diio schedule data, Delta flew between Tokyo Narita and Salt Lake City until 2011.

“The launch of Salt Lake City to Seoul service offers customers convenient access to Delta’s growing global network and ensures that virtually all U.S. demand is connected to Seoul via nonstop or one-stop service,” said Joe Esposito, Delta’s senior vice president of network planning, in a Friday news release. “As Salt Lake City continues to grow as a vital Delta hub, our strong joint venture with Korean Air allows us to offer unmatched connectivity between the U.S. and Asia, leveraging strong hubs on both sides. This ensures that customers, including those in the interior U.S., have access not just to Seoul but to key destinations across Asia.”

Between Delta itself and its partner Korean Air, the two airlines serve Seoul from 14 U.S. cities. Delta flies to the South Korean city via its hubs in Seattle, Minneapolis, Detroit, and Atlanta.

The airline’s A350s seat 306 passengers, including 32 business class suites and 48 in premium economy.
