Turkish Airlines announced this week that it would launch flights to the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.
The flights, which would be routed via Bangkok, Thailand, are set to be operated three times a week. Flights departing Turkey’s largest city, Istanbul, would leave on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while the return leg would be operated on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Starting on December 10, 2025, the Turkish flag carrier hopes to capture demand for the winter season, with flights set to end in March.
Turkish Airlines has a long-serving flight to Bangkok, so this flight should also boost capacity on this route, with passengers being able to utilize fifth freedom rules in order to simply fly from Istanbul to Bangkok and vice versa.
