Key Takeaways:

Delta is making some adjustments to its domestic network. This time, the airline plans to cut one of its long-standing routes from New York.

The carrier’s service between New York LaGuardia and Dayton, Ohio, will be discontinued, effective September 7. This daily route was operated by CRJ-900 aircraft.

This change was reflected in Friday’s Cirium Diio schedule update. Flights have also been removed from the carrier’s website.

Delta began operating nonstop flights between LaGuardia and Dayton in January 2013. The carrier continues to serve Dayton via its Atlanta hub with multiple daily flights.

A Delta spokesperson did not immediately respond to AirlineGeeks’ request for comment on the route cut.
