Contour Airlines is adding a new route for the summer of 2026.

Starting May 6, the independent regional carrier will connect Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Pensacola, Florida. The seasonal service will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Contour said it will operate the route using a 30-seat regional jet, though it did not specify the aircraft type.

“We’re thrilled to continue expanding service to Pensacola and to make nonstop travel to the Gulf Coast accessible for Cape Girardeau residents,” Contour President Ben Munson said in a news release. “Whether traveling for a beach getaway or business, passengers can enjoy a stress-free experience without having to drive to a larger airport.”

According to its website, the airline connects Cape Girardeau to Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth, and Pensacola to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, on a seasonal basis.
