The London-based airline will offer 10 weekly flights between London Heathrow and Johannesburg from October 2026 through March 2027. The route will be operated with an Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.

Virgin Atlantic will operate a seasonal service between London and Cape Town from October 15 until April 20 next year. The carrier will serve the route 11 times per week.

The schedule changes are designed to optimize connectivity with onward connections to North America and Europe via Heathrow, officials said.
