Key Takeaways:

Israeli flag carrier El Al will resume service to San Francisco after an over six-year pause.

The airline said Monday that it will fly the Tel Aviv-San Francisco route three times per week, on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, starting Oct. 25. El Al will use a Boeing 787 Dreamliner for the service.

Tickets are available for purchase starting Monday.

El Al officials said the connection will help accommodate growing business travel between Israel and California, while also expanding options for the large Israeli population in the Bay Area.

The airline dropped service to San Francisco in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the winter of 2026-26, El Al will fly nonstop to six U.S. destinations – San Francisco, New York-JFK, Newark, New Jersey, Miami, Boston, and Los Angeles.
