Frontier will launch four new nonstop routes across the U.S. and Caribbean later this year.
Starting Nov. 20, the ultra-low-cost airline will connect Denver and Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Detroit and Los Angeles; and Kansas City and Orlando, Florida. A fourth new route, Houston Bush to San Juan, Puerto Rico, will start the following month, on Dec. 17.
All routes will operate once daily except for Kansas City-Orlando, which will run four times weekly.
Frontier has been adding connections over the past two months in an attempt to capture market share left behind by the collapse of former competitor Spirit Airlines. Earlier this month it launched service on eight former Spirit routes, including Boston to Orlando, Dallas/Fort Worth to New Orleans, and Detroit to Philadelphia.
