Contour Airlines is adding a new route between the Midwest and Central Florida.
The independent regional carrier said Wednesday that it will connect Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with Orlando Sanford in Florida. The airline does not currently serve Orlando Sanford, or any airport in the Orlando area.
Flights will start Dec. 16 and operate twice per week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, through March 27, 2027.
Contour currently connects Cape Girardeau with Pensacola, Florida, on a seasonal basis, and with Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago O’Hare year-round.
“Adding seasonal service between Cape Girardeau and Central Florida gives travelers in the region another convenient way to escape the winter and enjoy all that Florida has to offer,” Contour President Ben Munson said in a news release. “We saw strong support for our seasonal Cape Girardeau/Pensacola service, and that success helped demonstrate the demand for convenient nonstop service to Florida.”
Contour will operate the connection using a 30-seat regional jet.
