The aircraft – registered as N807NW – was operating flight 1213 to Atlanta when a fire was reported while the jet was leaving the gate.

For this flight, I would be flying in SAS business class to New York from its hub in Copenhagen, on board one of the carrier’s Airbus A321LRs. 

The case stems from the well-publicized issues with Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft, which was grounded worldwide in 2019 following two fatal crashes.
