Silver Airways To Begin Service Between New Orleans, Jacksonville

Silver Airways, the Florida-based regional airline, recently announced that it will begin operating non-stop service between New Orleans, La. and Jacksonville, Fla. starting on June 3. Now entering its tenth year of operation, Silver Airways operates primarily between destinations in Florida and the Caribbean using a fleet consisting entirely of turboprop aircraft. The Silver Airways fleet currently includes the Saab 340, the ATR-42-600, and the ATR-72-600, with the Saab 340 to be retired in favor of the newer ATR aircraft.…
