Proposed Vietnamese Airline Scrapped Months Before Launch

Vinpearl Air, a proposed Vietnamese airline set to launch in summer 2020, is being scrapped. Its would-be owner, Vingroup JSC, plans instead to focus on technology and manufacturing businesses, including developing electric vehicles (EVs). Plans for Vinpearl Air were announced last year.
