Embattled with ongoing Pratt & Whitney engine troubles on its new A321neo aircraft, JetBlue is planning to return some older Airbus A320s to revenue service.

JetBlue has announced the introduction of a new inflight entertainment platform known as “Blueprint by JetBlue’ which will debut on select aircraft.

The New York-based carrier announced that its revenue will be down between 6.5% and 11.5% in the second quarter relative to last year.

Back at the end of February 2024, AirlineGeeks reported that JetBlue had put in a proposal for its first-ever Essential Air Service (EAS) contract.

JetBlue is pulling back the throttles in several domestic and international markets, cutting service in four cities starting in June.

The airlines jointly terminated the proposed merger after a federal court blocked it. Now, pilots at both airlines are planning to re-negotiate contracts.
