Kangerlussuaq

With the opening of a new runway in Nuuk, the carrier will be closing its long time hub nearly 200 miles north in Kangerlussuaq.

With less than two month until Nuuk’s new longer runway opens for service, Denmark has pulled the airport’s security authorization.

When Nuuk’s new 2,200 meter runway opens next year, it will mark a historic day in history not only for Air Greenland but the entire country.
