Hawaiian Airlines CEO Joe Sprague will retire later this year and be succeeded by Diana Birkett Rakow, currently the senior vice president of public affairs and sustainability at Alaska Airlines.

Spirit announced on Monday that several top executives, including long-time CEO Ted Christie, are departing the airline.

Two longtime Southwest executives are set to retire in April. The Dallas-based airline announced the leadership changes on Thursday.

Southwest announced the next phase of its board’s transformation as six directors are slated to retire in November along with Executive Chairman Gary Kelly.

As the airline welcomes a new leadership, it bids farewell to transformative CEO Eduardo Fairen Soria, who served since October of 2021.
