American is growing its Northeast network with a batch of routes, including some new markets from New York LaGuardia and Washington’s Reagan National.
American is shaking up its network in the Northeast this summer. The Fort Worth, Texas-based airline will cut one route, but swap it with another.
The flight made a U-turn near Turkmenistan about 10 hours into its trip. It was later escorted by Italian Eurofighter aircraft.
The livery design was created by JetBlue crewmember Ray Matthew, who also coined the tagline on its side-body: “Honoring the fly-est crew in the biz.”
