Singapore Airlines has announced the suspension of its service between Manchester, United Kingdom and Houston, Texas, effective April 1, 2025. The airline will maintain five-times-weekly flights between Singapore and Manchester, while increasing its service to London Gatwick to daily.

The decision to suspend the Houston service comes as the airline adjusts its flight schedule for the Summer 2025 season, which runs from late March to late October of next year. The airline will continue to serve five airports in the United States, including Los Angeles, New York-JFK, Newark, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The airline has served Houston since 2008, initially via Moscow before switching to a Singapore-Manchester-Houston routing in late October 2016.

“Singapore Airlines regularly reviews our network and routes to align our capacity with demand,” said Mr. Dai Haoyu, Acting Senior Vice President of Marketing Planning at Singapore Airlines, in a press release. “These adjustments, ahead of next summer, cater to the higher demand to several destinations, particularly during the traditional mid-year peak travel season, enabling our customers to confidently make their 2025 travel plans. We look forward to connecting our customers to the world with SIA’s extensive network, and delivering an unparalleled travel experience.”
