“An on-site inspection by Edelweiss has shown that it is difficult to guarantee a long-term stable and reliable long-haul operation,” the carrier said in a news release.

The last flight between Zurich and Havana will operate on Feb. 27. Until then, the once-per-week service will continue to operate on Thursdays.

German leisure carrier Condor is halting flights to Cuba in May 2025. A handful of European airlines continue to serve Havana, including Air France and Iberia.
