British Airways is reworking its flight schedule ahead of the summer of 2026, with plans to increase the frequency of nonstop flights between London and the U.S.
The carrier announced Thursday that it will add flights to Miami, Dallas/Fort Worth, New York, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Austin, Texas. It did not say when the changes will take effect, only that they will be in place before summer next year.
“We’re delighted to expand our long-haul network from London Heathrow and Gatwick next summer, adding more services to some of our most-loved destinations,” said British Airways Chief Planning and Strategy Officer Neil Chernoff. “Whether customers are traveling for business, leisure, or visiting loved ones, we hope they take advantage of these additional flights, which offer greater choice and convenience, making it easier than ever to connect with their favorite destinations around the world.”
Service from London Heathrow to Miami is set to increase to twice per day, while flights to Dallas/Fort Worth will resume on a daily basis. The carrier suspended flights to Dallas/Fort Worth in March.
Flights between Heathrow and Las Vegas will increase from 10 times per week to 13 times per week.
Both San Diego and Austin will see 14 flights per week.
British Airways plans to serve New York-JFK exclusively from Heathrow, ending its Gatwick service. The carrier will operate nine daily flights between Heathrow and JFK.
British Airways currently serves over 20 destinations in the U.S., and over 40 in North America.
The airline is also increasing service to Kingston, Jamaica; Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia; Bahrain; and Doha, Qatar, starting next year. It plans to make a popular wintertime route to Bangkok permanent, operating up to six times a week.
The carrier recently added Rabat, Morocco, and Graz, Austria, to its route network.
