Turks and Caicos’ interCaribbean Airways is expanding its network in the new year.
Starting March 8, 2026, the carrier will connect Tortola in the British Virgin Islands with Barbados and St. Maarten.
InterCaribbean will offer seven flights per week between Tortola and Barbados. Four will operate nonstop, while the other three will land at Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten before continuing on.
“Expanding nonstop options from Tortola has been a priority for us,” interCaribbean Chairman Lyndon Gardiner said in a statement. “Adding Barbados and St. Maarten as nonstop destinations gives BVI travelers access to our wider Caribbean network in both directions. For the British Virgin Islands, it reinforces our long-term commitment to the territory.”
Both Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport near Tortola and Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados are hub locations for interCaribbean.
The carrier’s current network includes destinations in Puerto Rico, Cuba, The Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Antigua, Dominica, and Grenada, among other island locations.
