American plans to relaunch its longest regularly scheduled domestic service in October 2025 following a four-year pause.

United is adding three routes to its network later this year. The carrier will expand in Chicago with one new service along with two resumptions.

On the heels of its breakup with CRJ-200 operator Air Wisconsin, American is also detailing plans to end all 50-seat service from Chicago this summer.

Last month, the carrier scheduled the resumption of flights from Chicago to Boise, Idaho, along with Bismarck, North Dakota. 

Regional carrier Air Wisconsin is seeking two Essential Air Service contracts in the Midwest, with two unique proposals.

Starting in July, the Fort Worth, Texas-based airline will exclusively serve the Alaskan city with Airbus A321neo aircraft.

According to reports on Twitter/X, the aircraft — registered as N834AA — was struck by a cargo container while taxiing to its gate.

Denver Air Connection, or DAC for short, has been modestly growing over the past couple of years, now having 19 destinations and 18 routes. 

Eight new airlines – seven of which are international carriers – have recently been added to the program. One of which is an oddball given its current state.

Just over ten days later, American has increased frequencies on eight of the 10 cities Frontier plans on starting out of Philadelphia.
