For the upcoming winter season, TAP will operate the route three times per week, with flights departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

A new hotel inspired by the golden age of air travel is set to open next year. The Pan Am Hotel by Hilton is scheduled to debut in late spring 2026

Citing rising airport cost pressures, ultra-low-cost carrier Allegiant says it will end base operations at this airport, which began in 2009.

The airline began service to Brisbane last month, which is a seasonal flight. Its Los Angeles to Sydney route is served year-round.

The carrier will resume one long-haul route later this year, while also deploying its flagship Airbus A350-1000 to a third U.S. market.

United is set to add a new service between the U.S. and Canada later this year. The airline currently operates over 160 flights between the two countries. 

One major airport that eschews this rule is Los Angeles, where the biggest carrier is Delta with 24% of domestic flights and 20% of international connections.

American is slated to restart service on a mainline route for the first time in roughly seven years. The flights will begin next year.

TAP Air Portugal is set to expand its U.S. network in summer 2025, adding three routes along with a new West Coast destination.

Investigators stated that maintenance staff knew the tool was missing but placed the aircraft into revenue service anyway.
