South African budget carrier FlySafair has announced a new service enabling passengers to directly reach the iconic Kruger National Park from Cape Town.

Air Cote d’Ivoire has suspended flights between Cote d’Ivoire’s largest city, Abidjan, and Johannesburg, South Africa, citing operational reasons.

South African Airways has gradually been expanding its route network and flight schedule since its restart in September 2021. 

Lesotho will be without scheduled air service until its primary airport in Maseru restores emergency services to acceptable standards.

Heading into the holiday season, South African added more flights to its network, catering to the larger numbers of passengers who travel during that time.

Asia’s largest low-cost carrier Air Asia is considering introducing flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa.

Lufthansa launched its inaugural flight between Munich and Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport earlier this week. 

Zimbabwe’s national carrier has restarted services between Harare and Johannesburg. The restarted service will operate four times weekly.

Emirates has operated scheduled services to South Africa for almost three decades, establishing itself as a top choice for many travelers.

South Africa’s national carrier, South African Airways (SAA), will not be adding any routes to its network in the near future.
