According to a statement from the FAA, a JetBlue flight from Chicago O’Hare slid onto a patch of grass while turning off the runway at Logan at 11:55 a.m. local time. The airplane involved is an Airbus A220.

The ground stop will be in place until 2 p.m.

 

In a statement, JetBlue said passengers safely disembarked and were bussed from the runway to the airport terminal. No injuries were reported, the airline said.

Both the FAA and JetBlue said they are investigating the incident.
