EVA will begin flying from Taipei to Dallas/Fort Worth in November 2025, which is also its second destination in the state of Texas.
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier announced 10 new routes on Monday as part of its “rapid expansion program,” which are set to begin next year.
American is set to operate its longest scheduled regional service next year, which is also a new addition to the carrier’s route network.
These moves come as the New York-based airline continues to moderate capacity after posting a loss of $60 million in the third quarter.
One of its most iconic designs was the mostly-green scheme, a bold and distinctive look that adorned the airline’s fleet for many years.
The Atlanta-based airline has added a plethora of new routes from the Texas capital in recent months, many of which to non-hub markets.
The airline’s largest aircraft type will return to its Northeast hub next year with regularly-scheduled flights to Europe and the Middle East.
A spokesperson from Hawaiian Airlines confirmed the planned 2025 service exit in a statement to AirlineGeeks on Thursday.
