With some airlines – including American and Delta – cutting daytime flights to Europe, United plans to resume one in 2025.

Last month, the carrier scheduled the resumption of flights from Chicago to Boise, Idaho, along with Bismarck, North Dakota. 

This is the second A321neo to join the carrier’s growing fleet this week, with the other aircraft (N54525) arriving on Monday.

The recently-merged Alaska and Hawaiian airline duo plans to move operations at five additional airports in the coming months.

The 50,000-square-foot center near Salt Lake City International Airport is the airline’s first “significant” pilot training facility outside Atlanta.

In an internal memo sent to employees on Wednesday, the carrier said it is “focused on building the best East Coast leisure network.”

Avelo’s budding international network is set to grow again. The ultra-low-cost carrier plans to add more flights to the Caribbean next year.

One of Mexico’s newest airports – Tulum – saw a large influx in air service when it opened just over a year ago in December 2023.

The airport’s first scheduled Embraer E175 flight landed around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday as United flight 5782 from Denver.

In a Tuesday news release, the airline said the new seats will offer “unmatched comfort and space at Frontier’s trademark affordable prices.”
