To combat continued sanctions, Russia forcefully re-registered foreign aircraft. The buy out will allow airlines to use the seized aircraft internationally.

On Sunday, Dublin-based international aircraft leasing company Avolon confirmed an order for 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
