The carriers had temporarily paused flights to the country as tensions with the U.S. escalate.

The FAA on Friday warned civilian operators about the “worsening security situation” in the country.

The new routes make Qatar Airways the sole Middle Eastern carrier with direct flights to Venezuela, slated to begin later this year.
