Alaska Airlines has resumed operations after a technology-related glitch forced the carrier to ground all flights for about three hours late Sunday night.
The latest communications outage marks the second time this month that technology failures have occurred at the facility.
Delta’s Q3 2024 earnings report released on Thursday saw earnings per share take a 45-cent hit in the third quarter due to the CrowdStrike outages.
The report states that the incident caused around 7,000 flight cancellations over the course of five days, leading to $500M in lost revenue.
