The Saudi Arabian national airline is growing its network at a significant pace. The new additions in 2025 are concentrated in Europe and the Middle East.
The addition comes as the airline’s regional subsidiary, Endeavor Air, said it would open a crew base in the North Carolina city.
British Airways is further reducing its U.S. network later this year. The carrier continues to grapple with Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine issues.
Dulles has seen a slew of new airlines in recent months, including Breeze, Avelo, and Aeromexico’s recently resumed service to Mexico City.
Last year, the carrier confirmed plans to use the 767s in its passenger fleet again. The fleet type exited revenue service in 2020.
Finland’s flag carrier said its agreement to wet lease two aircraft for its Asian network could be terminated, eliminating 90 pilot jobs.
Later this year, Delta and Southwest will be left as the only two remaining airlines regularly serving the North Texas airport.
